My name is Kaleigh Marchant, a curl specialist located in Phoenix, AZ. Originally from Tulsa, OK but AZ is my HOME. Growing up in AZ, I rode horses & competed for years, so I felt the picture went well with my journey!

I was inspired to work with natural texture just based on my own experience. I was raised by a white single mom & she always taught me to love & embrace my curls even if she didn’t always know what to do. Lots of trial & error! I didn’t get my first curly cut until I was 20 years old, I’m currently 28. Which was only 8 years ago, crazy! My curls never necessarily looked bad growing up & I did my best to style it & figure out products.

However, walking into a salon that specialized in my hair made me feel safe & empowered. Growing up curl specialists didn’t really exist so any time I walked into a salon they said one of two things: they could not help me or asked me to come back with my hair straight. Let me tell you, I HATE the way I look when my hair is straight, I always took pride in my curls! After continuously going back into the curl salon environment & seeing people experience their first cut & style really warmed my heart. Some people think hair is just hair but really, it’s an intimate concept.

So, I decided I wanted to make others feel safe & confident too! I started beauty school December 2020 and graduated September 2021. After I graduated, I worked in a private curl studio from February 2022 to November 2023. Then I stepped out & opened my own private studio January 2024!

Here I am making curly, coily, wavy dreams come true!

Due to the economy at this time, I closed my full-time studio and currently I’m day renting a suite on Saturdays & Sundays only for now. I’m hoping to increase my availability in the coming months!
